Recommend a goose hunt reasonable distance from DFW?

My guys are looking at doing this. Anyone got an outfitter?

What does a reasonable distance mean to you?

Throckmorton/Vernon area I think is the closes you can get to us that have great geese numbers. I went to the Oklahoma panhandle last year with Goose Reapers and had a great time.

Give Rustin a call at 940-257-9685 Dry Creek Outfitters

I've used them for our yearly guided trip the last 3 seasons and they easily have the most huntable land in the Wichita Falls area and also **** good fields in Oklahoma, not a far drive from their lodge.

They scout non stop and are always on fresh birds. If they tell you their fields are loaded in OK for one of your hunts, dont question it and go ahead and buy the OK license.

I’m pretty far from you, but I can just about promise you (unfortunately) that there are more geese within 50 miles of me right now than anywhere in the country. In about a month there will be no doubt about it, again, unfortunately.

The guy in the blue coat must have blended in pretty good with the red dirt and green wheat. Nice shooting. Panhandle geese were starting to stack last weekend while we were crane hunting

Its not close to you but I will be goose hunting with Big Kansas this year in February. Have hunted with some of those guys last year and enjoyed it. $1050 for 3 hunts and lodging and meals.

Tule Creek in Tulia. 806-441-4868 ask for Dane. He will take great care of you. You can combine his hunts with afternoon cranes or pheasants. It is a blast to hunt with him. He is on our deer lease and is a fantastic guy to be around.
