When I was around 8 years old my grandma took me into a bow shop with a little browning bow that I had gotten for Christmas out of a Cabelas magazine. The shop owners took their time to teach me how to shoot correctly and it was there that my love of Archery was born. That shop was Davids Outdoors in Weatherford Tx. From the annoying little kid saying “hey David” over and over to going elk hunting together, over the last 25 years David and Tammera have become like second parents to me. For the last 36 years they have helped to grow the sport of Archery. I am so thankful to have met them all those years ago. I would just like to congratulate David and Tamera on their retirement and for 36 great years.
Going into effect November 1st 2018 Charles & Jinx McFarland owners of “Texas Outlaws Guns and Ammo” purchased Davids Outdoors.
After talking with Charles I believe he is committed to keeping Davids passion for Archery alive. Texas Outlaws/Davids Outdoors will have the best line of bows west of the metroplex: Mathews, Hoyt, Bowtech, Elite, and Mission. He also has big plans for the shop bringing in Guns, Ammo, and Fishing gear. I can’t wait to see how the shop turns out.
