I've looked at the Colt Competition, Springfield TRP, and going to look at the Kimber Stainless II. Any other to look at? I like the Matched Barrel, fiber and adjustable sights. Don't know if ambidextrous safety matters.

The TRP is a great gun and the Kimber Raptors are equally good. I have both but prefer my Raptor. I’d buy either of them used in a heartbeat.

I had the Kimber II for about a week. Ended up selling it because I didn't need another one. The action was amazingly smooth and tight. Very good gun.
