Architect Needed in Hill Country

Does anybody know of an architect that does house plans in the Hill Country. We have an idea what we are looking for but need an architect to put it on a set of drawings so we can move forward with pricing/building the house. Our place is in San Marcos at the Wimberley Junction. If you know of anyone please let me know.

This is the guy I used and he was very reasonable and did an outstanding job. My builder was very impressed with him as well. Said he included lots of details that most architects leave off.

call Charles Roccaforte. One of the best in the business and is located in downtown Wimberley. I have used him and know a ton of people that have used him. Never heard one bad thing about him in the Wimberley area.

I used a guy out of San Antonio. Paul Latimer 210-216-6111. It's funny, they still board draw but he's fast and really good with detail.

Also, please note a lot of the local firms are designers and not architect. Make sure you ask up front. I used a designer since we weren't required to submit stamped drawings to the county. Individual subs create their own drawings and the lumber supplier will create framing drawings.

You will need stamped drawings for septic and foundation.
