First Point Javelina

I have seen ALL the threads on First Point but have a somewhat different question.I have the whole place booked in Feb for a javelina/Hog hunt and none of my group has ever been there.Lot of javelinas and hogs?Got any good tips on getting on these "first point" hogs and javvy's?We know how to hunt them.Just hoping someone that has been to this specific ranch had some tips on the hogs and javelina.

I was there in nov and did see alot of hog signs but no hogs or javalinas.some people saw hogs and one guy got charged by a javalina.good luck.

Just got back today. 4 of us hunted for 5 days. We were assigned pastures 7,13,5,6. Total of 11 hogs spotted and 3 javelina. Harvested one hog. I passed on a hog as i was out for javelina but they weren't cooperating. In all fairness we didn't hunt all that hard as it was really hot to us yankees. Took 3 days to get 2 non working feeders repaired. Had a morning hunt ruined by illegals as i had to wait for border patrol. No tripods, we had to hunt from ground blinds which we had never done before being from pa. Cheap hunt, worth the price but i am looking somewhere else for next year.
