Texas ASA Tournament Trail Starts NOW

First up is Brazos County Archery Club in Bryan, this weekend January 20-21.

All ASA classes will be offered. ASA federation rules apply. You can sign up or renew your ASA membership. You do not need to be an ASA member to participate.

Generally, adult classes are $30; youth will be $15 (or is it $16?); and youngsters are $5. Fun shooters will be $15.

You may shoot either day or both days. If you shoot both days, the second day must be shot as a fun shooter - your first day score will be the official score.

Brazos County will have 1 range set. They will have their world famous Mexican Food truck and a specialty coffee truck (last I heard). The 4H will be selling breakfast tacos both days. If you haven't been to BCAC in the last year - you are in for a pleasant surprise. They've had several more upgrades to the club facilities. Several more are in the works!

BCAC also has 2 of the new turkey targets and they will be setting at least 1 for us to practice with.

I think the forecast kept people away and it's too bad because this was a great course. It never did rain.

Scores are already posted, too. Terra and some BCAC friends upgraded the capability of the scoring system and now can get done almost as soon as the last card is turned in. I got to play with it yesterday and it was pretty sweet.
