New bows on the way!

I just ordered a new Sarrels Black Hills for my daughter. That'll take a few weeks to finish.

For me, I just ordered a Bear Super Kodiak, 60", 40lbs at 28". I already have a Bear Grizzly 55# I can use for hunting. I'm still hoping my Bob Lee will be recovered though.

I hate that yours were stolen, but congrats on the new bows!! I love those Super Kodiaks and have heard nothing but good things about Sarrels bows. Enjoy them, and hopefully your Bob Lee will turn up eventually too.

The Bear just arrived. I haven't shot it much due to high winds, but so far it seems to shoot quite well. It has no silencers or string nock, but it seems to fit my needs for now. It's not as nice as the Bob Lee, but it's half the price. It'll get me by for a year or two until I'm ready to upgrade.

Okay, so the Bear is now setup and ready to shoot. I shot for a while today and have a 3D shoot on Sunday here in Tyler. So far I am really surprised and impressed with this bow. Is it a Bob Lee!? No. But, it shoots quite nicely with little hand shock. It's also fairly quiet. I'd say it's 90% as good as the Lee.
