Fried Oyster Sliders

I did a little fishing and picked some oysters this weekend. With oysters i did fried oyster sliders and oyster shooters. The red fish was frozen for a later use.

Oyster shooter:

-1 oyster put into a shot glass
-dollop of cocktail sauce
-top of with vodka (i had deep eddys lemon vodka on hand)

Fried Oyster Slider w/ Horseradish aoli

-slider bun
-butter lettuce
-fried oysters
-pickled red onion
-tomatoes
-garnish with green onion

I love fried oysters anyway. But those sliders look amazing. Except that I would want at least four or five of them!

i'd have to pass on the shooter, but those sliders look great. gonna give it a try when I get some fresh oysters.

Yea i can honestly say i would rather eat oysters Rockefeller than take a shooter. The sliders were great

I've been trying to find a place in Ft. Worth that does a great traditional Oysters Rockefeller with very little luck. I'm going to The Dive Oyster Bar soon and see how theirs are.

Yea it looks like from the reviews i read, The Dive Oyster Bar or The Blue Crab Seafood House makes some good oysters rockefeller. I'll be going tomorrow to pick a few buckets of oysters. iv been getting some really nice ones lately.

that's a beauty! Where are you getting those? I've always wanted to grab some out of the bay. Christmas/ Bastrop bay area.

Tx 9 zone. Yea bastrop is restriced, pretty much any area the Texas food and safety department deems safe you can pick em.
