Really bad timing. Here it is right in the middle of deer season and I go and smash the heck out of the index finger on my draw hand right at the first joint. It is badly swollen and I can't begin to bend it. Hopefully it will heal quickly but at my age that rarely happens. I shoot 3 under so I'm not sure how this is going to work - just going to have to experiment.

Hope ya heal up Jerp, and hope ya figure out a way around it so you can get back at it!! I shoot split, and smashed the $!?@€% outta my middle finger last year too. It took some gettin used to, but I figured out a way, and got to where I could shoot purty good with my index above, ring finger below, and middle finger along nock. Course, ain't that good a shot anyway, so didn't decline much! Good Huntin, and God Bless, Rusty

I'm confident you'll finger it out.
Maybe tie on a small nock knot between where your index and middle finger go, so that your middle finger would have something to brace against while you just point your index finger at the target and out of harm's way.Last edited by tradtiger; 11-12-2016, 08:49 PM.
