What is the best video editing program?

Folks, I have a ton of video on my camcorder, GoPro and phone that I would like to edit. Im wondering what the best/easiest editing program is? I see many people making videos and wonder how easy or hard it is to edit videos. Not being able to edit videos has been keeping me from taking more video the last couple years. I feel like its a waste of space and time.

    Give me some options please.

    Ray

Best and easiest. Those are mutually exclusive. Video editing is very difficult at first, and still incredibly time consuming even once you figure it out.

I'd start with iMovie on my iPhone if I were you. It's fairly intuitive, and has useful features.

I recommend Cyberlink Powerdirector if you're running a PC. Just make sure you've got a fairly stout computer that can handle running video editing software. That will save you a lot of frustration and give you a better product. Cyberlink is fairly easy to learn, and will likely do all the basic things you'd need for a hunting video.

I put together this video from last year in about 3 hours using Cyberlink.

A short video I put together of my 2015 Whitetail buck that I took with my Elite Energy 35. Music by: Blackmill and This Will Destroy You

Adobe Premier Pro is what I use. User friendly.

Shooting video is the easy part. Editing the raw footage into an interesting story is more difficult and time consuming! Start with Movie Maker or iMovie if you have a Mac. Those are good for basic editing. If it's something you decide you wish to spend more time and money doing, then you can upgrade to something like Premiere, FCP or even Davinci Resolve, which is free, but a little less intuitive at first.

Thanks guys. I really want to start editing video. Im not interested in a movie like finish. I just want something to enjoy watching and see many video clips in one.

I've been using Pinnacle Studio for several years. Still on version 14 which is way outdated and plan on updating soon. I found it very user friendly and plenty of effects to make a good video. Having said that, the content of the video is just as if not more important than the editing. Used it for this video a couple years ago.
