    Ball bearing steel knife.

52100 ball bearing steel and Rams Horn Handle knife.
I posted it earlier this week in the classifieds but I didn’t reduce the pictures and they looked too big (I think). It takes me six days to work 52100 using the Ed Fowler method of heat treat and temper.

9 ¼ OAL hammered looked blued 10x 52100 ball bearing steel 60rc. It’s thick .210 thick. Rams horn handles with black liners (3) 1/8th brass pins and one ¼ flared brass tube for lanyard also serves as a mechanical fastener.

Looks real good. I like the "roughness" of the knife and the natural of the horn. Its a good combo.

On another subject are those instrument dwgs in the background?

Yes on the DWGS; I'm a movie theater building consultant. I've been building and designing Movie Theaters over 20 years, my job so far on this project is been correcting Architect and MEP's... and on this project it's been a full time job.

Been in Odessa for two months and with the Mess-up will probably be here two more months, this project is four months behind and over a million over budget. Thinking real serious about going back to knife making full time.

Did you forge it? I hate working ball bearings, I don't own power hammers.
