So Donald Trump, whether you like him or not, is going to make the comment reported by Cruz to the editorial board of the New York Times, but make it off the record so no one ever knows about it.

I would give the odds of this even being remotely true 1 in 1000. But Cruz making this claim on the eve of a primary he absolutely has to win - I'd say the odds are strongly in favor of this being another Cruz lie.

Quite frankly, this is why I can barely stand any Republican candidate other than Kasich and Carson.

Would I be surprised if Trump has commented somewhere that he might be open to negotiating his position? Sure. He has practically left the door open for that when you look at his position anyway.
