i need a 250 gal propane tank are the end caps i anybody knows where i could pick one up arond east tx let me know thay are hard to come by

Try your local propan supplier. Some of them have old tanks that no longer pass the hydrostatic testing that they have to go through ever 20 years and they'll sell them pretty cheap since most scrap yards won't take pressure tanks. Sometimes you can also find them in the Thrifty Nickel/Craigslist.
