Apa king cobra

Ok .Enewman i shot the APA King Cobra today.First thing I noticed is the bow ia extremely light in physical weight. I dont know what the advertised weight is but i would guess 3.25 to 3.50 lbs. I'm used to shooting heaver physical weight bows so the King Cobra was hard for me to hold on target (nothing that cant be cured by adding a few heavier accessories). The shop we shot the bow at did not have a working chronograph so i dont have any speeds with the 650 grain arrows i shoot. the bow was set at 60 lbs. i shot it at both 27" and 28" draw lenghts. my normal is 27" but this bow felt better at 28". draw cycle is smooth with the normal hump / thump during the last 3"-4" of the draw cycle. it had little to no hand shock after releasing the arrow. The bow did seem to zip the heavy logs i shoot at a pretty good speed ( my guess would be 230FPS or better). I would like to shoot it again at 70 lbs and 27, 27.5 and 28" draw lenghts.
As far as my next bow.....it is between the APA KING COBRA or the MATHEWS MONSTER WAKE.

ps thanks Steve for making time to meet me and allowing me to shoot the bow...........also next time use a better rope system to raise amd lower your bow from the tree stand.

THE APA DROPAWAY REST. SUCKS IT STRIPPED ALL THE VANES OFF 3 ARROWS AND 2 VANES OFF 2 OTHER ARROWS

Steve told me bad chrono. How did the pull feel compared to the wake.

hard to say because the wake was a 70 pounder and the king cobra was a 60. i would like to have both side by side to do a better comparison .

I shot the overdrive rpm 360 and prodigy 360 is a nice bow prodigy is smoothest out of the lineup

i tried to shoot the rpm....thats the hardest drawing bow i have ever put iny hand......almost pulled my shoulder out trying to draw it.

Good bow. No where close to the same speed. Just me making a statement. The op is doing the same as me I believe. Looking for the fastest bow that is shoot able so we can shoot a heavy arrow. 550 plus range. And I'm a 26.5 draw so I have to look hard so I can stay above 250 fps

enewman did you look at the mamba air according to steve the 2016 model.is supposed to shoot 250 fps ..it has the same cam aa the king cobra.

it bites that there are only a couple APA dealers in the usa..seems to me that us dealers are missing out on a good bow company
