    Clean cast iron

After watching a couple YouTube videos on cleaning cast iron with electrolis I decided to give it a try.

I'm going to start with this Dutch oven I found a few years ago. I have it in the electrolis tank right now after a couple hours I'm going see how far along it is.

Here is a skillet that the seasoning started to come off of and I put it in the tank to strip it so I can re season it. It was a pre seasoned skillet btw.
        After 1.5 hr

Yes sir I've done that before but I wanted to try something different. I'm doing this at work and it's something that I don't have to worry about I just put it in and walk away.

A little over a hr on the lid

                      It still needs more time.

Did you have to wire brush it when you removed it from the cooler?

Rinsed with cold water and wiped with a piece of steel wool.
