Ok guys yeti or engel

My wife wants one of the soft side coolers. Yeti has already got a great reputation. I want waterproof so that if it turns over in the car due to a child it doesn't spill. How does the engel stack up. It's half the price and they really talk it up on their website.

Have you looked at Bison coolers, they are great and made here in texas. Plus they are a sponsor of the green screen.

Bison isn't waterproof. I got a free Yeti bag and really like it, haven't heard anything about the engel but if it is waterproof, has good reviews and is half the price I would give it a shot Engel makes good stuff.

I ended up talking to Austin Canoe & Kayak. He said it's really a crap shoot between the two. The Engle has more storage and internal cooler space is only 4 qts less. He said he would take the engel over the yeti especially for the price. So she is getting the engel in kriptek camo

I don't know anything about the Engel soft side but the Yeti is awesome. Well worth the price IMO.

Well amazon screwed me. They sent my the white one instead of camo. I called them and they said they don't even stock the camo. So it turned out that they mislabeled it with wrong pictures and descriptions but the right code for the white. They however gave me 20% back if I wanted to keep it, or a full refund with free shipping to send it back. I kept it for that kind of price. Besides that I can always wrap it with a camo wrap or spray it if worse comes to worse. Or its cheap enough that I cam buy another in camo.

It is excellent quality at half the price of the yeti with a removable liner bag that allows you to keep the wet in a removable nylar bag inside a water right compartment. They went over the top
