anyone been out to the old sabine lately? just wondering if they got any flooding from the hurricanes. planning on going out this weekend to do some scouting and wanted to know if its flooded before i make the drive out there. thanks.

Not any flooding that I know of. We didn't hardly get anything from the hurricane. You can alway's call and check though. But I can guarantee you it's not flooded!!! -

we were going to head out this weekend but opted not to considering the heat and wind. we will be out next weekend on sunday and monday till about noon. plan on slayin a porker and scouting for deer since our 2 week camp out is around the corner. ha the mosquitoes live still, lol. thanks for the info guys, sure is handy since we drive all the way from fort worth.Comment

did pretty good sunday morning, both of my boys killed their first squirrels got 5 total.was letting them do the hunting and giving them first shot at everything, could of had 3 limitsComment

ya there are lots of young squirrels and mosquitoes out there right now. Was down at the bottom the other day and located a few tree stands people have put up for Saturday and shot a pig with the bow.Comment

took the mule out there last weekend and was finally able to explore the whole dang park. wow. huge. i think i might finally be able to hunt some spots that are out of reach for the walking crowd. sure would suck to kill something way out there and not be able to get it out. or quarter it and walk it out a few miles in the dark.Comment
