Also give me some info as to what you are looking at to come up with your guess. To me the wear on this jaw was different than most I have seen.

I have asked a few people that I have a lot of trust in their opinion but thought I'd throw it out there for more thoughts.

I will also add that there was no feeding on this place the last two yrs until we got it and started in march. So if he got some it was from the neighbors.

              Sandy and rocky terrain.

6.5. 4th tooth ridges are mostly gone. maybe 7, but the next tooth should have a little bit more wear.

I think since you said sandy soil area that he is younger than most people would guess.. I would have guess 5 1/2 but with sand 3 1/2

Most of the time the soil type is only a factor if they are eating corn off the ground alot. Our place wasn't fed since 2011 until this year. He might have been hitting the neighbors hard.

My main reason for throwing this up there for opinions is the overall even wear of the teeth. There are little to no crests left on any of the teeth. Even on 6.5-7.5 deer you some times see the inside crests visible even tho there is major dishing, or even tooth loss.
