    Elite E32 Shooters

I was watching a couple of reviews on the Energy 32 yesterday evening. From what I saw and from what I've read on here, it's really hard to find anything wrong with them. However, one guy made a comment that I've never heard before and that I really didn't understand. He said that Elite measures their draw length from the valley of the handle, and therefore, it'll make a 30" draw feel like a 29" draw. Does anyone who shoots an E32 feel like that is a true statement or is that a completely off the wall deal? This guy ended up getting the E35 because he said a 30" draw on the E32 felt too short for him and 30" is the max DL for the E32.

normally if tou look at the ''valley of the grip or handle its in line with the rest mounting hole & that is where they measure the brace height from

I shoot an E35 and had to get it 1 inch longer than all other bows I've shoot.

So it sounds like there is some truth to it. Thanks for the input sir.

Mine "feels" short. That said I had it checked twice. The draw length is correct. And I can shoot it well so . . .

I haven't noticed any difference in draw length from my Hoyt's to the energy 32. The only thing I've noticed is better accuracy. It's crazy!!

Yes the elites do draw a little short.. But it is no more than .5 inch.. so a twist here and there can fix it.

Elites draw to the DL of the mod installed. So a 29" mod actually draws 29". A lot of other bow companies run quite long on DL, like a 1/2" or so.

Elite does not run short. It is just guys are used to their other bows running long and have to order a longer DL Elite to be the same DL. Very common on the Mathews to Elite switch.

Elite measures DL like everyone else, they just tell the truth. Plenty of others that do too. Obsession and Xpedition come to mind. Hoyt is dang close too.

I have a very elaborate and precise draw board. Takes all of the guess work out of draw length.

Feels shorter to me, adjusted my release and it is perfect now.
