    Conroe Soybeans

I recall several members trying to find protein in the Conroe area and not having many options. Today I found soybeans at Conroe Feeders Supply for $14.25/50lbs. I thought some of y'all might want to know.

Looks like I might have lucked out. This was the first time I had bought soybeans and I no clue what beans normally cost. I thought $14.25 a bag was close to normal. Apparently I didn't realize it was a great price because a buddy went in a couple hours later and they charged him north of $27/50lbs.

Wow, had I seen that I would have loaded the truck. In years past, I'd mix it into my corn slinger and with my hand corn as well.

I actually saw it at a feed store for 35 per 50 lb. bag last year.

Yeah, great price if you can find it under $23 a bag.

I would have felt terrible for buying a truckload at nearly half price after I learned what was going on. I felt bad enough getting 4 bags at that price.

I have a double barrel feeder I just built. One barrel has corn and the other has soybeans. They come down into a manifold and self mix just about the spinner plate.
