    limbdriver pro-v concerns

took my qad hdx off my strother last week and threw a limbdriver pro-v on the bow. the rest tuned great, is very quiet and accurate.

okay here is the problem, the bow now has hand shock in it. since adding the pro-v there is a virbration in the bow. my bow is VERY dead in the hand, as it was with the hdx. starting rotation is money, cam sync is money, the bow is hitting peak weight and full let-off so there is no issue with the bow.

in addition, i have gone over ALL fasteners on the bow (twice) everything is tight and nothing is loose?

    ideas?

is this what this rest does?

I've had one on my bow for about a month and have not experienced any vibration in the bow.

Impossible! It's the greatest rest of all time.

Can you put the QAD back on and see if it stops?

i'm laughing WITH you, not AT you

i have had the Pro-V on the last 5 or 6 bows i've owned. and, yes. a NEW rest would go on each new bow.

Never had a single issue like that

Call Viper and see what they say.

talked to "ears"............. first he said that it could not be the rest..................then after I told him I thought it was since I threw a couple of monkey tails on the limb chord he told me to use cat whiskers since they will work better............

the monkey tails helped out a little so I think that's what it is. I was also told the chord could be too tight as well so I loosened it up but I think maybe I did too much.

going to fool with it some more and see what I can do.

When I used the original Limbdriver, I used to put Bowjax thingies on the cord to try and quiet it down. If the cord is too tight, it will give you some vibration no doubt. Hope you get it worked out. I switched from the Limbdriver Pro to the QAD HDX just to make my bow quieter. The LD are accurate rest though.

okay so when I tighten the chord should the rest be all the way down. if you notice in the pic I don't even have enough tension on it to bottom it out.

Yes the launcher arm should be flush with the cage. Keep your launcher arm pressed down and pull cord up back towards the upper limb.

Press the arm down with your finger don't smash it down just keep enough pressure on it to keep it flush.
