    New Release

I've been using the same release a couple years now, and it's nothing special. A cheap true fire. I'm wanting to step up a notch to a little better release what's a good one that's not ridiculously expensive?

Scott Silverhorn is a mid priced release you can find them for about $70, I really like my TruBall Beast, they run about 100.

I like my Tru Ball thumb releases, I also have the v-lock strap on both. I shoot both, clean one up late summer and it stays in my pack for hunting.

I started punching a finger release, no issues with the thumb.

I have had a couple of different models of Scott's and like them both.

Tru-fire Hardcore is my absolute favorite wrist release, Scott little goose is up there too.

I like my Scott Silverhorn. Don't think I would go back to 2 jaws.

Anything with the name "Scott" attached to it. They build great relaeases. It's just going to depend on what specifically you want out of one. I shoot the little goose because I like the smaller release. It puts the string/ release closer to my face and doesnt feel like you're holding a chunk of metal in my hand.

I started using this release this year and it improved my groups a bunch.

Do they have buckle or velcro straps?

I'm sold on Scott releases, I'm currently shooting the Wolverine but they have a large line of releases to choose from and they are high quality.
