    To my Slick Trick users...

I currently carry the 1-1/8" Slick trick Magnums and the 1-1/4" Grizztrick 2's in my quiver. The magnums shoot true and very quiet, however the grizztricks shoot similar to the magnums, maybe even a bit more true, BUT they are very loud! There is a loud vibrating sound once out of the rest. They are screwed on very tight into the arrow, just as the magnums are.

Anyone else have this issue with the Grizztricks?

Try swapping your washers around. I've also had one that the blade was slightly smaller/ loose- practice head now. Mine were the Magnums.

I started shooting the Grizz Tricks this year and I have not had any issues with noise with either the original Grizz tricks or the Magnums. These are really great broadheads. I have been shooting Thurnderheads and I am liking the four blades a little better than the three blade thunderheads. The key is shot placement, ALWAYS. If you can shoot it straight then any sharp broadhead will do the trick.

I'm shooting the GT IIs and haven't noticed any issue like this.

I had a noisy St magnum once until I figured out I had left the washer out!

I just started using slick tricks this year and I love them. I use the magnums I'll likely never use anything else. I brought nothing of importance to this conversation, but I love my slick tricks.

I have never shot the mags but the grizz tricks do make noise. I have not noticed a vibration noise but I have noticed them making a lot of noise through the wind. They are loud but man they make a hole.

I did this too. Rattled till I figured out I had the wrong size washer on it.

I never heard a rattle when using them, but I did hear a "whistle" while they left the bow.

Any vented blade broad head which includes ST 100 Mags and Grizz Trick 2s will make some noise going down range. This is a question that has been asked here on TBH about Slick Tricks for years. We have sold Tricks since 2000 and we have been asked this question. I have stood downrange and heard the sound you are talking about as the arrow passes. I know what you are talking about. Its a non issue with me. I'm quite sure the 1000's and 1000's of animals that have been killed with Tricks over the last 13 years either did not hear it or it was too late when they did hear it.

Heck, my arrows make noise down range with field points. I know it's more from the veins than the head.
