Mathews Reviews for 2013

I live quite a distance from any Archery Shop so how about some reviews on the new model Mathews bows. From the web site I am liking the looks of the new Chill-R and would like to know your thoughts on the new "shorter" Creed.
I own a Helim (favorite bow to date) and a DXT (other favorite bow) and like them both very much, but wlling to cheat on them just a little.

I just bought a creed xs. I went in and the owner blind folded me and I shot the creed, creed xs, chill r, and heli m. He would switch the order each time and every single time I went back to the creed xs. Smoothest shooting bow I've ever touched. My second favorite was the heli m. Right now I have a bear empire but I just fell bass ackwards into a used heli m so the empire will be up for sale soon.

I put a chill r through the paces last month at the shop and was very impressed. the bow is very quick, very quiet, very smooth and very dead in the hand. I've owned an outback, z7x and have a switchback and have shot most of the other models in between............... the chill r is the real deal. one of the better bows they have put out in the last couple of years. if I wasn't happy with my sx-rush and switchback i'd own one with extreme prejudice.

I shot the chill, chill r, creed ( i own), heli-m (i own), creed xs

and didn't like the creed xs string angle (you won't be able to judge that blindfolded)

and the draw cycle on the chill didn't offset the speed increase.

Chill r is the smoothest draw and shot on any bow I have shot.

I own a Helim and have shot the creed and creed xs. I prefer the draw cycle on the helim. My wife was nice enough to order me a chill-r in desert tactical for Christmas, so I am anxious for it to arrive.

The ChillR is my favorite for 2014. Great shooting bow.

I really like my Chill, smooth,forgiving and very quiet.

I have no complaints about my Creed. I drew it, along with several other bows, and it just felt the best to me. I was able to kill two animals with it this year (a pig and a coyote), but didn't get a chance to take a good buck. I look forward to shooting this bow for years to come.

Shot the Chill R,Creed,and Creed XS today and I loved them all but the Chill R and regular Creed were my favorite.Loved the solid wall of the Creed but the Chiil R was awesome too.For me I would have to do some more shooting with the Creed and the Chiil R side by side to decide on one but the XS was a little short for my liking but shot awesome as well.

Got my heli-m set up today. Man this thing is light and SMOKING fast! Can't wait to get my creed xs
