Need Another Chambers Review!!

Hey all -
So, my brother and I are off the Chambers Sabinal ranch next week. We're after hogs, Axis, and Aoudad. I've read mixed reviews the last couple of weeks from ya'll, so, has anyone been there lately? If so, what's it like. We're driving a long way to get there so I don't want to go home totally busted, but I understand it's hunting and not killing. So: long story short, who's got a review?

Has anyone been to Chambers in the last couple of months? I just want to be able to manage my expectations to the correct level so I know what we'll be seeing/shooting at

There are alots of hogs that are not extremely hard to kill. They are skittish when on the roads but if you can draw before they get in your lane then you can kill them. The axis on the other hand have always been tough on chambers. They know what a hunter is and they know what that noise of a bow being drawn is. They do have some monsters there tho.

Thanks for the tips; so, if I understand you correctly, if I can find a way to make a silent draw, I should be able to arrow an axis?

What about Aoudads?

Last month there was a large group of aoudad hanging around the front pond by the highway in the primo pasture. When are you starting and ending your hunt? I have a group coming in on Friday the 30th thru June 1st.

Thanks for the very encouraging news! I don't mind hunting hard, but this being my brothers first opportunity to actually bowhunt with him pullin the release, I wanted to make sure it was a good time. I can't wait to get there. Should be a great weekend.
