Some old timbers or posts and a handful of pallets. Use your imagination like a 5yr old building a fort. Whalah!!!! Bowhunters palace

i found a place on a craigs list search that sells sections (8') of old privacy fence for $10
I believe i am going to buy 4 sections, frame up a light weight weight roof and be done for $50.

I have one made of 3 pallets. The pallets were only 48"x48" so I did a little rebuilding on them. Removed a few of the cross boards near the top, spiced on to the sides to make it taller, and then nailed the remaining boards on at the top. This gave me a taller blind and a window to shoot through. I then covered it with some military type camo netting, cut 1 hole to shoot thru, and piled brush up around it. Its worked well if I have the right wind for that location. Iv had deer come less than 10 yards from me several times and didnt know I was there. Be sure to put some kind of top on it to keep it dark inside. Mine is backed up under some low hanging ceder limbs that hang out in front of the blind. The limbs above me keep it dark but if they didnt I would put some type of roof on it.

I have another of T-post and cattle panels in a circle, then covered it with netting. Cut 1 hole and cover with brush and it works well too.

I am going to build one using a couple of hog panels rolled up and covered with camo netting.

If your looking for cheap covering, use a billboard tarp. Reasonably priced and is UV resistant.

Me and buddy thought about using old fiberglass roof material used on trailer roofs. Usually 28'x8'. Buddy made one this past weekend. He cut his down to 6' tall and long enough to make it 6' in Diameter.

Hog panels and camo netting work great if you brush em in good. I built a small 4x6 platform and wrapped it in the hog panel, then wrapped that in the camo netting. I zip tied some brush to the panel and tucked it all amongst some short oak saplings. Worked great and saw several deer that never saw me.
