    0-30 yard pin?

i have been consistently shooting spot-on groups at 20 yds with my 20 yard pin. i moved out to 30 yards and started using my 30 yd pin (but keep in mind i cranked up the draw weight on my bow to 65-67 lbs after i had sighted in my 30 yd pin a few weeks ago) at 30 yards i was shooting WAY high with that pin, so i tried to use my first pin, and i was shooting great groups again. is it okay use my first pin for 0-30 yards? will it screw things up when i try to sight in broadheads? i have always had my first pin for 0-20 yds. has anyone else used their first pin for 0-30 yds?

any input would be appreciated, thanks

I shot a single pin non adjustable sight. 0-30 one pin. No problems.

If your bow is shooting fast enough there shouldn't be a problem.

If you shoot flat at both 20 and 30 I would use the same pin. I have my pins set at 25, 35, 40, 50 because I have a similar situation with my setup. I also own a single pin that I use for target shooting and it makes everything so much easier than having to remember all your pins.

My single slider set at 20 will hit just about the same group out to about 40 yrd maybe about half inch low at 40 but still right on the money, so you should have no worries

I have 30, 40, 50. I never use the later two unless I am target shooting. Even if your bow shoots say 1-2" low at 30-35 yds it usually compensates for a little deer drop. I have thought about getting rid of my other two pins all together and having one pin set at 30 yds and compensating on hold when shooting longer than say 35 which very rarely happens.

My first pin is good out to 30, second pin set at 40, third pin set at 50. Only use my first pin hunting, the other 2 are just for practice.

I am looking at multi pin sights and need a housing for my CBE. Do you guys have recommendations for what would work with this sight? I would like a single pin but if I shoot 3d in the hunter class, you have to use multi pins. What are your thoughts?

Of course it is! I set my first pin for 26 yards and the next one is at 33 yards. For today's bows, you will find that they are pretty fast and the need for the 20 yard pin is just about gone. But, remember to aim low at 15-20 and also when shooting downhill. Cheers!

My top pin is set at 25yds, tad high at 20 and a tad low at 30. Out to 30yds I put the pin where I want to hit and squeeze the trigger

Just buy the multi pin sight housing from CBE. My cbe tek hybrid takes about 2 seconds to change them out

5 pin Spot Hogg on my Monster 6...pins set at 30,40,50,60, and 70. One pin to 30 works great...one less thing to worry about.

What speed are y'all getting for 1 pin out to 30?

All I use is a single pin sighted in at 20 or 25
