    Strother Rush arrow spine question

I recently bought a new 2012 Strother Sx Rush. I have always shot Easton Axis and plan to continue. With my old bow I shot 340's, but according to the Easton arrow selector I could be shooting 400's with the rush. Another factor is that with my new rest I will be shooting shorter arrows. Can anyone help me out? Thanks for your help.

    New Set up:
    Strother Sx Rush
    70 LB
    29.5" draw
    QAD HX

    Old set up:
    Fred Bear Buckmasters G2
    70 Lb.
    29.5"
    Trophy Taker drop away

I think you will be fine, if not better off with the 340's. I'm guessing you shoot 100gr points?

You need 340s with a 70 pound Rush without a doubt.

If it was 60 lbs, 400 but pulling 70 lbs go with the 340's.

I think the 340s would be best @ 70# for sure.

I'd use the 340s depending on length. You may be able to get away with 400s if they were short, but I wouldn't chance it.

You'll be plenty fast at 70 with your DL.

I say that because usually people want to downgrade spine stiffness to gain a few fps due to the lighter shaft weight.
