    Trad only shootout ?

    It seems as if years ago there use to be a trad only javelina / hog type shoot . Does anyone remember if there is such a thing ? If there is I would be interested. I don't know why this is but it just seems when you get some compounders in on some shoots the attitude / atmosphere changes. I would prefer to just be hunting on a trad only shoot.

    This past April and coming up Mar 31, I'm getting together with about 12 other trad guys from across the country to hunt hogs and javies. A really good time. Down near Freer. Good time for sure.

    I know it's not what you're asking, but I can see where you're coming from.

        Tracy, anyway to get in on that hunt? My 40th birthday is March 27th...sure would be a good way to spend it.

          Unfortunately, this one costs a bit. A little above my budget, but its a chance to cut up with friends that I seldom get to see, so I grit my teeth and go for it.

              Tracy my contact info has changed my phone number is still the same though. P.M. me and I will get you all my new contact stuff. If folks try to get me next weekend I will be down in Freer on that stickbow deer hunt. To all I have eight spots spoken for and five left open for the Second Annual Ham Jam in the Spring of 07.

                Eric, make SURE y'all get some good pics on the deer hunt. PM me the ones that aren't suitable for a mixed audience.
