    Blood Runner

I have shot them at targets and they fly well, but they have a wizzing sound to em unlike the swacker BH. What kind of field results is the GS gettin with them. I noticed they took some cut outs in the blades, does that help with the wizz sound?

I shot them for a year. Don't take a quartering shot with them. If the blades hits vertical your fine. If they hit horizontal they will deflect on the ribs and run up the ribs. I had that happen on two animals. I only found one of them. Total I killed 7 animals with them and 5 kills were awesome. On broadside shots they are devastating. Huge blood trails massive damage. I switched heads because I love to take slightly quartering away shots.

I used the 3 blades a couple years ago. They will make noise. The doe I shot at ducked the arrow from 20 yards. They even rattle went handling the arrow.

Is it the blades that rattle? I seen a tip on good ole youtube if you wax the threads and the rattling from threads will stop. IDK if thats the rattle but a helpful tip...

I shot a sow at 30yrd quartered away with the 2 blade and I ran the arrow out in front of the off side. She only made it 20 yrds and it cut a slit thru her the length of my finger. They are some tuff heads for sure

This doesn't help much as its not tested on an animal..

Ive seen this a few times. Even before NAP bought em out. I understand we dont hunt OSB. But an ol Thunderhead 100 will tear thru the seat of a metal chair and stay intact. Ive done it many times. Any head that cant take a lick from some OSB i dont want any part of. Im not just pickin on the Blood Runner. Its just amazing to me how many of the older heads can take a bone hit and get boogered up but hold together. And how many of the heads that cost $40 a 3 pack cant take a hit for crap unless its ribs only.

I shot A blood runner the tin, red iron and half way thru 1/2 in sheet of plywood when I missed my target at 60yrds and it hitthe side of the barn. I unscrewed the arrow and pulled the bh out with needle nose and the only thing wrong with it was a chipped blade. IMO they are the tuffest mechanical I've seen designed.

Alot of thing where different when dirt was formed! Lol : )look at cars then vs cars now. Everything was SOLID good metal then now it's cheap seconds. I was impressed with the quality but that's just my experience with them.
