    Backyard Shot

I was taking out the trash and saw this one on the passion flowr vine on the backyard fence--had to run back in the house, find the camera, put it on macro--then change back to regular focus, and take the shot. For once, everything worked for me.

I ID'ed it as a zebra heliconian. Only lays eggs on passion vines--so guess I need to watch for caterpillars now--

The pic is entered in the contest--

Camera is an Olympus C-740 UltraZoom 3.2 megapixel. I've had it for 5-6 years and it was my carry camera when I was on the S. Tx lease. I now have an Olympus 330 that has a doble-digit zoom and 13 megapixels that is my carry camera.
