    New Venue for TBoT in Tyler June 16-17

    This is a new venue for TBoT this year. Info from the TBoT site is as follows:

    Where: Tyler Archery Club. Contacts: Cevin Price (903)245-8827 cevinprice@gmail.com, Gene Bohannon (817)201-4369 genebohannon@gmail.com.

    Directions- From the east loop 323, take Hwy 64 east about 3- 4 miles.
    Turn left on Adam Henry Road, go 1/2- 3/4 mile, turn left between two houses.
    Signage will be up, but Adam Henry Road is right after Carl Owens Auto Repair.
    If you get to the Oil Palace, you went too far but not by much.

    Well, I was gonna ask if anyone new if there was room to set up a tent. DUHH, I reckon I can call one of the numbers listed!

        I attended a Deerman shoot a Tyler earlier this year. They have a great course with the ability to have a wide variety of shots,, and a really good bunch of guys. This will be a really fun shoot.

          They have a nice website, too, and I see they are advertising the heck out of the TBoT on their front page

          And on their Facebook page I found the coordinates, in case anybody needs them:

            Guys and gals don't miss this one. They are laying out great course. For all who have not been to the Tyler Club it is awesome. Huge pines and lots of shade, it screams TRADITIONAL!!!!!!

            TBoT SHOOTJune16th & 17thTYLER ARCHERY CLUB

            We will start at 8am with cards in by 5pm on Sat and 8 am with cards in by 2pm on Sun.

            Fees are $10 for TBoT members and $15 for non members per round. Cubs and Mini Cubs shoot for free.

            Scoring will be 10, 8, 5, 0.

                I feel ya Dusty, I hate when the take the twelves away.... It don't change anything, but I like shooting for them

                    LOL...I haven't gone back and looked, but I don't remember a shoot this year that scored twelves except for Vanderpool.

                    And yes they do make a difference. It takes 4 X 10 to make up for a drop. It only takes 2 X 12.

                      Like others have said, Tyler has a great property and can offer a good mix of shot setups. I hope everyone has a great time! Sadly, my new work schedule won't let me attend this one.

                          They have them but its easier on scoring for most. Plus its like the longbow shoot you pay for your mistakes!!!
