I will be there with two of my buddies for the archery hunt. We will be in a pop up trailer there in the rv park. Look for a maroon Z-71. Our card #'s are 15-16-17 so hope to get a good pasture. Cant wait!

We were in west blocker stand 205.We saw deer everywhere. They let us use corn for the youth hunt.We put out 250lbs on saturday evening and sunday morning all gone.If they let you use stands ,there was a good tree about 200 yards north of 205 right at the trail were all the deer were coming out in the sendero.

Sounds good. Does anyone know if you can have camp fires down there? Not sure if there is a burn ban right now.

Not sure. Call the office down there. They have always been helpful. In the past they
Have only let you use corn on youth hunts. They say that the bucks they want shot don't come to the corn. It keeps people from shooting the young bucks.

At the top there will be a number. I cant remember the entire # but it is XX-***X-20. The last two #'s is the order your application was drawn. One number for everyone in your group. In the past you pick your area by the order you were drawn.

I was just down there on the youth hunt. David said NO baiting this year I was trying to pick his brain. All he would say is its one of the best years hes ever seen, big deer every where. I didnt see any in the pasture we were in but other hunters in almost every compartment was seeing big deer. The only problem with that is what is a big deer to them sooo close your eyes and pick a pasture. Good luck update us on yuour hunt please...
