Would you shoot? Age & Score?

I am hunting small wooded area behind where I work, only about 20 acres total. It does not hold any deer, but they travel through. I have been seeing this nine point consistently and I have never taken a buck of of this property. In fact, last year i only had one buck on my camera one time all season. I am not sure if this deer is 2.5 or 3.5 and he could probably make a great deer, however, when rifle season opens he will be gone if seen by any surounding hunters. There is no way to do any management here since it is a mix of city, residential, and farm land. I also have never killed a buck over about 122 so this deer is still a big deer for me. What would you do?
How old is he? What will he score?

id put my tag on him but thats just me. If you like his look then shoot him but it all depends on what you consider a trophy

Sounds like he will not make it through this year regardless of what you do. If you would be excited to take him and he is a trophy to you, don't think twice about it. Good luck!

3yr old - I would not shoot him as he has some promising looking antlers for a 3yr old

I think he is 3.5, 130 ish and he looks like he has the potential to be a brute in a few years. However, given the circumstances you have described...if you do not take him, someone else most likely will.

If you think he is the best buck you will have a chance at, then I would have no reservations about letting one fly. He is a good, young buck.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
