    Awesome weight watchers Taco Soup!!!

    1 lb. ground turkey or lean beef
    1/2 large red onion, chopped
    1 (1 oz.) package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
    1 (1 oz) package Taco Seasoning Mix
    1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
    1 (16 oz) can black beans
    1 (16oz) can of ranch style beans w/jalapeno
    1 (16 oz) can whole kernel corn
    1 (16 oz) can garbanzo beans
    1 (8 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes (any flavor)
    1 package of Uncle Ben's Long grain and wild rice (90 sec bag)
    (you may have to add a little water to it)

    Directions
    1.)Brown meat & onions and drain.
    2.)Mix Ranch & Taco seasonings into meat.
    3.)Add rest of ingredients, undrained to mixture, including the cooked rice.
    4.)Simmer 1 hour.

    There are about 12 servings in this recipe.
    2 Weight Watchers points per cup.

      thanx, i lost 20 pounds on weightwatchers and was never hungry.....its a great program, really got tired of counting points though

        I'll try this for something different. That ranch dressing mix gets around, doesn't it?!

          Made this tonight. My guys loved it! With a helping of shredded cheese on top, and chips and salsa on the side, it made a hearty meal.

          My guys decided they're not lovers of the chick pea, so will leave out the garbanzo beans next time. Used chipotle taco seasoning and a extra helping of my own taco seasoning.

              I just made this Sunday night, with Venison sausage instead of the lean beef, and it was the bombdigity.
