Island Hunt

I heard a rumor about an island on a lake that is open for public land hunting.
Does anyone know what i am talking about? i would love to go on a hunting trip via canoe. Any suggestions would be greatly appericated.

What part of the state? Caddo lake has some islands on it that are part of Caddo Lake WMA and legal to hunt on.

Gettin' too close to huntin' season.These public land boys tend to get a bit tight-lipped as opening day approaches. Cooper,Grapevine and RayBob all have deer on the islands.
