Those targets are still on our practice range, and I have tried... but been unable to wear them out... stuff heals better than even the McKenzie foam being used these days.
With one club kit, I repaired both sides of 11 targets. The compass/wood burner He sells comes in real handy for putting the scoring rings back in too.

The repair video was a big help. Looks like I am going to get this stuff and repair the target. I wonder if they have ASA scoring template for the javelina.

I still have my templates...I can trace it out on a sheet of plastic if ya want.
Really the only thing you need is the 8 line, and a mark where center 10 is... then the diameters of the other rings.
I used the tool to burn all of the different sizes onto a board...then just match up and go.
Just bought 2 XT inserts for McKenzie at 25$ ea.. One Mtn Lion and one Speed Goat. The targets I own have been shot out and repaired a few times each. They are the older targets with no insert cut-outs. Just replaceable mid sections. Kind of expensive.
I laid the insert on each sige of my Pronghorn. After measurements and positioning, I traced outline with sharpie. I then cut out foam from both sides as straight as possible with a sharp fillet knife.
After a few adjustments and trimming I got the core in. I had to stomp on it just a little because of the friction.
Bottom line it worked out great, been shooting it for 3 weeks now.
The Speed Goat lives again!!!!!!!!
