for Cuddeback. I have 5 captures I bought last year. Of course I can't find the receipt. I tried the upgrade on them before I called. The woman I talked to said we can probably get it fixed over the phone. Ok. What's the problem? Well on the first one it wont take a pic.Hmmmm. Lets reprogram. So we go through the motions. Still no pic.Well are you sure? Pretty sure. I have cam, card, puter. NO pics.Well it should work now! Well it dont!!!! Ok lets try again...Going on 45 minutes now. Walk around in front of it and wave your arms or somethingSo here I am in my office walking back and forth waving my arms like an idiot and she said(well did it work?) Hang on a minute... NO pics What can we do now? You have to upgrade it..I already did. Try again and call me back. It said right on the website warranty within a year...Upgrade so we will know when it was activated. I did!!!!!!! Well i can't tell from the # you gave me. Well over an hour now. Since you dont have receipt you can send it in and we will send you a new one for $100. Why cant I send them in and you check the dates they were activated and fix them for me or send new ones. That's not how it works!!!!!!Ok I will look for receipts again. Have I helped you with all you needed? We are only on the first cam. I'm going on break can you call back? Ok thanks.... Sorry for the rant but I thought they were sposed to have good customer service... NOT happy with Cuddeback right now.

i had pretty good luck with the customer service i posted the same question last year. i had one that they were able to fix over the phone, the 2nd had to be sent in for repair...err replaced with a referb for $80.00. i asked about th camera card because IT WILL NOT WORK with anything over a 2

Cuddeback has NOT been known for having good CS is the last couple of years.... Your experience is pretty typical. Once upon a time they built the best cameras on the market. Maybe their CS stunk then, but no one knew because the product was so good. In the last few years the quality of their product has really slipped and exposed some pretty poor CS.
