    Just got my Blob......

Well, my Blob 24"x24"x8" target was delivered yesterday. I have not shot it yet but these are my 1st impressions. Not impressed. It really only has one 'face' unless you want to be shooting into cardboard because the cardboard box it's made in does not come off. The 'face' of the target is COMPLETELY exposed during shipping so it is now 3+ different colors. I guess when I paint bullseye's on it I can start w/painting the whole face first. Since the face is exposed it got damaged during shipping. A couple corners are crunched in & one corner has a couple chunks missing & is torn. Honestly, if I was here when it was delivered, I would have refused it & got a refund. I should have stuck with my first plan of getting a Rinehart RhinoBlock. I'll let you know how it handles arrows when it quits raining.

even with the minor issues you noted, i think you will be impressed when you shoot it. and for how long it will last. looking forward to update/review!

I hope so. After all, I didn't get it to take it out on a date!!!!! I was amazed that they leave the face exposed during shipping, though. If it had cardboard on it I don't think there would have been a single fault.

You are fixing to shoot arrows into it and some may even have broadheads on them. Who cares what the face looks like. Yes you are going to need to paint spots on it. It has 2 shooting sides the front and the back. This is by far the best target I have ever shot. You will like it but it will not win a beauty contest.

The side w/the cardboard isn't going to last very long if I shoot it. I'm using only BH's. What I mean by "had cardboard on it" is for shipping purposes only. Not permanantly like the other 5 sides where you can't remove it w/out tearing up the target. I knew from the get-go I had to paint sots on it. I just didn't think it would have shown up in this rough of shape. I know it's a target. When I buy new tires I KNOW they are going to be driven down the street but I don't expect them to already have chunks out of them before they go on my truck! Am I being a baby about this?

I dont think you are being a baby about it, but you might have been expecting it to look like one you might see in a store. Honestly IMO life is too short to shoot an ugly blob!!

When I inquired about the blob I was told that the 24x24 would only be sold/shipped in groups of five. Is this not the case? I really wanted the larger target but wasn't willing to coordinate to sell the other four.

I've tried posting pic's on here but it always says there is some sort of security malfunction/problem. They are now selling the 24x24x8 shipped to your door for $115. It is actually 25.5x25.5x9.5 which is a good bonus in size. I just went out to start putting bullseyes on it but I don't have any material to make a template. It is ugly & I knew it would be. I was not expecting a store bought looking target. I bought it for it's BH ability & longevity so I guess I should just quit bi^#*ing about it's looks. I can't wait to shoot this bad boy & make it ever uglier!!!!!

They need to install wheels on that sucker. It weighs a ton. Oh, don't lay it down on your garage floor you'll need two grown men to pry it up.

Even heavier than a water logged bag target?

I don't think your being a baby at all.
You pay money for something, no matter what your going to be doing with it. It should have atleast some standard of professionalism to it.

How would you like to order a 3d target and get it in, half faded by the sun and the other side is deformed and flat with curved legs.
I would be not be happy about it even tho it will get thousands of holes in it.

Just shot it for the first time. This target is NOT made for FP's. It took 2 hands & almost broken arrows to get them out. I didn't try any BH's yet due to some tuning issues I need to work out.
