Not rally sure what kind advise you are looking for. I can tell to follow the arro and make small adjustments. Start with shooting a group at about 10 yrds and then when you are close start moving back and fine tuneing from there 20,30, 40, 50,yrds. Hope this helps some.

To sight in elevation, use a horizontal line, a piece of black tape works fine. Then use a vertical peice of black tape for setting windage.
This is easier and faster. You don't have to try and hold on a dot, any where on that line is fine.

IDK how really new or naive you are, but watching the "new" guys come to the local archery shop, the best piece of advice I can offer is to remember that you are moving the pin to where the arrow hits, i.e. if you are hitting right, the pin needs to be moved to the right....

What you want to try and accomplish is to shoot tight groups then after you have done that move the groups(by adjusting the sight pins) to hit where you are aiming.

Once you bow is tuned using a walk back method start sighting in.

It is best to start pretty close to the target, 10 to 15 yds to make sure that you are hitting in the target area, then move to 20 yds, shoot your groups, get them tight then start moving the pin, once 20 yds is sighted in the longer shots will be a little easier.

          Good luck
