    Video Editing ??? help please

I've been videiong hunts for about three years now. Nothing professional, a small Sony Digital Hard Drive video camera. I have lots of footage but never tried editing any of it.

I know I could make some cool video, especially some archery highlights! Only thing is, I have no idea where to start.

I download straight to my computer and then to Youtube; check out my stuff adgerag15

I want to get a video editing software that will allow me to cut and edit times, slow motion, add music and combine videos. Can anyone help me out? Any info will be helpful

Windows movie maker was REAL standard. I couldn't figure out how to do anything is detail when I messed with it.

          Does it do slow-motion?

Sony Movie Studio 9 is supposed to be a good video editing tool. There are tons of how-to videos on youtube for it. I have a new, un-opened box here that I bought that I decided not to use, since I prefer to use Adobe.

It's $90 new. I'll discount it for you (or anyone) that wants to take it off my hands!

Adobe is great editing tools. A bit slow on the upload. Platform for editing will take some used to making sense but jump on youtube and they will show you a lot of quick editing ideas. Use key words like Adobe Movie Editing Slow Motion, etc... It's cost is a little up there but for Windows user its a good source. MAKE SURE THE MOST RECENT ADOBE VERSION WILL WORK WITH WINDOWS 7.

it does slow motion. go to video effects and click slow down by 1/2. then do it more and more till you get the desired slow motion speed

ok i got a new toshiba computer. it has windows 7 operating system.

I downloaded free version of SONY VEGAS PRO 9 and have liked it so far. I can do the slow-motion very easily.

BIG PROBLEM, cant get the video format to fit YOUTUBE.COM

anyone know what I can do to convert it to another file type?
