new to this forum and was curious how many trad shooters were from the houston area... is there any shoots or clubs that have any traditional shooting...

If you look down the trad page you will see a thread about Houston area shooters. There are a fair number of us.
There are no traditional only clubs in the Houston area. Many of us are members of TBOT and go to there shoots. They have at least a couple in the Houston area each year.
All of the clubs have trad shooters and on any given shoot you may have between a half dozen and a couple of dozen. Start looking for the shoot schedules around the end of Jan or first of Feb. If you can swing it the big trad shoots, like Chester, Hill Country Shoot out, etc are a ton of fun with huge turnouts. -
