Caddo in Fannin County

Any hints for hunting this area?

find the acorns, me and my buddy shot two big 8 pointers there last year, the first with a rifle the second with a bow.

hunt deep in between the two lakes--plenty of acorns in there--nice hills draws and slopes---and keep an eye on the deep dried up creekbeds--they like to walk them for cover

The ladonia unit is where I would hit.

Furthest North West corner or the property... So Im told I have not had a chance to get out there but was showed some very nice ldps,...

GO to unit 901 and park and go in deep on the opposite side of the road, walking in is not that bad until you get to Bois'Darc Creek. Once you find it head west along it until you run into the 50 ft pines, there are several underground fed natural springs any where in that are is great for seeing "Great" deer.

Behind the dam deep in the bottom, that is where I have had my best luck.
