My first whitetail bow kill, 142 inch 8 point!

Had a weekend hunt with Duchess creek outfitters in Oklahoma. Got some good pics and my first whitetail bow kill. The boys were out and about .





Then the girls showed up and it got crazy.

Sorry, guys I wrote down the score and forgot it and tried to edit it and screwed up. opps it was 144 got to thave those 2 inches, LOL.

After watching the squirrels and waiting for a big one to come in, I decided to go out on foot. On sunday the bucks were chasing like crazy so I thought we could capitalize on their craziness for the girls and it worked. We found a buck that had a doe hemmed up and would not let her go anywhere. There were 4 bucks lined up behind him waiting for a chance at her. He would not budge and we closed the distance and the XT let one fly. She was laying down in front of him and hey was in a thicket. I had to thread the needle through the brush shoting over her when she was lying in front of him. Thank the Lord it hit the vitals. He left a big blood trail and we found him 80 yards later.



He is a big boy I am 5"7 to give you some reference.
