Well you may have seen Wes's (Happy Bowhunter's) thread on "rattled in bucks" by now, but here a shot of the one I killed. Best hunting day of my life. I rattled and grunted for Wes yesterday until he stuck a 136" 8 point (see his thread), and then he rattled for me. We hit the timing just right and the bucks could not stand it. We set up with the wind in our face and I positioned myself about 50 yards ahead of Wes, with a 20 yard shot to the main trail. This big 152" 8 pointer came in just like a plan and offered me a 25 yards shot. He had tremedous mass for a hillcountry buck, long beams, and great brows. What a hunt. Good calling, Wes!
