Well that is what this post is about. Saying THANK YOU to all involved in the BOW'S 4 KID's program. My nephew Quinton Recived a bow early in the year. He shot it in the back yard to sight it in and shot with us every weekend at the lease. He got to be a pretty good shot for a first timer. Well he has hunted almost every weekend since the opener. With lots of game seen but never a shot to be offered. Well this last weekend he was in the stand with Gran Dad and that all changed. I never could get all the datails of how it all unfolded but from what I can tell this buck came in a total of 6 times on sat. morning before Quin could get a shot off. The shot was right at 16 paces and it was a quarting away shot "I know not the best shot but" he did good took out the back of the lungs and the liver. The buck ran about 100 yrds and piled up just off the lease road. Once again THANK YOU all who helped make this possible by helping out a youngster in need.
He is not much for smileing but trust me when I yelled out I found him and he ran up to mee with tears in his eyes I knew he was hooked.
