We high-centered the jeep on a cedar stump Friday night right in the middle of a pasture full of bull nettle. The jeep was completely surrounded. My two genius buddies were riding around in flip-flops, I had on Chippewas. So guess who was voted to hump it back to the house 2 miles to get the truck? Anyway, I stumbled into a few bull nettle high enough to get me around the knees. It hurt at first, but didn't really bother me until last night. Now I've got welts all over my legs and they are itchy and painful. What can I do?

Burdock is usually found growing close to nettle. Pick a few leaves and mash them up and apply to the nettle stings. Of course, its probably too late now.Comment

When you first get into them ues ducktape to pull them out. But now use ammonia.Comment

I had a heffer drag me across a pasture once through a field of bull nettles; after it was all said and done I didn't have any pee left to pee on it.

Benedryll will help with the itching. Vitamin E oil will also help.
You can also try a steroid cream from the doc.Comment
