Any "must see" attractions in St. Louis?

My boys and I are headed to St. Louis next month to see the Cardinals vs Astros, as a guest of one of the Cardinal players who is an alumni of my son's high school. We are only planning to stay in town a day or two, before driving up to Pike County Illinois to hang out at my favorite farm for a few days. We definitely want to see the Gateway Arch while in town, and maybe that's all we take time to do. But also wanted to hear from the Green Screen tour guides who always seem to have a great idea or two.

The city limit sign as your are leaving! Lived and went to school in Edwardsville right across the river and I don't have a whole lot of good things to say about either one. The zoo is awesome, the arch is ok to say you've been, the rest you can avoid.

I've been through there many times. Lots of areas in that town that are very poor.

One notable exception: Pappys BBQ 3106 Olive Street St. Louis. Some of the best I've ever had anywhere!

Your kids will love City Museum. Its not regular museum. It's a 10 story indoor maze with all kinds of slides.

City Museum is an all-ages architectural playground in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Explore tunnels, caves, slides and rides — inside and out.

City museum, the magic house, zoo, go eat at the hill for real Italian food, bud tour. Lone elm park. Busch gardens. There's a bunch to see in st Louis.

                            Duane

I was just there. Must go to 360 roof top restaurant/bar on top of Hilton north of stadium one block. Can see amazing views of STL and into Busch stadium. One south Broadway.

I grew up in STL area and have a farm in pike county. Enjoy your time there.
