I have been looking for a smooth and steady camera arm for my DSLR when I decide to use it as a video camera. I like the MUDDY, but they are very expensive for me. I also liked The 3rd Arm because its ease of adjustment in crooked trees. I hunt in the TX Hill County and we do not have a lot of straight trees. I realized that The 3rd Arm is not of biz and not selling units any longer so I sent them an email asking if they had any units left they would sell. Dean Scott replied and said he had some he would let go at "liquidation" prices. I am not sure how much they retailed for, but I asked him what he had left and he ended up selling me 8 bases and a few different Pro style arms for what I am sure was a fraction of the cost they used to retail for. Now I have enough equipment to have a base mount in most trees I hunt and the correct arm for the location. Super Excited!
