Harvest doe and avoid shooting a young buck
Crazy how much different the opportunities are simply by crossing imaginary lines drawn on a map. Good Luck all.

I saw three bucks chasing a doe last Sunday at 1:00 PM. The first buck was right on her tail and was a pretty good sized buck. The other two bucks were smaller and came down the same trail 5 and 10 minutes later so she was laying a pretty good scent trail.

All three bucks were grunting like crazy.

I've ran 6 trail cameras on this property for three years. I gathered all of my daytime shooter buck pics over the past three seasons and my data is telling me that 11/9 through 11/13 is hot for daytime buck movement.

I will be on stand starting tomorrow for 6 straight days. I hope my data pays off.

My area of Cooke is the same for mature deer. I've got young bucks trying to do it right now as I do every year. I like the week of thanksgiving.

My data shows another peak from 11/27 through 12/5 as well. I just could not ignore all of the daytime pics of shooter bucks between 11/9 through 11/13.

The gap between these two sets of dates I get almost no daytime pics of shooters.

Had a nice sit today. Wind was right, but only had a small buck cruise by around 4:30pm

The magic has begun at our spot in SE Grayson. The big boys are starting to get more and more daylight active and venture further from sanctuaries. Including the big buck we've aptly named Animal. Once he breaks his sanctuary you always know the time is upon us. So, looks like I'll be sitting in the wind/mist tonight. Should be reallll fun. LOL!

Hunted government land by hagerman sat and sunday after noon sunday I saw one buck and then hour later had a buck chasing two does come by. Thats the first deer I have seen so far this year
